Cultures will this year meet on May 28th and 29th, and the festival’s theme will be justice.
The 2016 festival programme also has a regional focus on Asia.
Offering music, circus, dance, theatre, arts and activities; World Village Festival aims to promote tolerance and cooperation, multiculturalism and development, and global issues that affect everyday life.
Korean electronic act IDIOTAPE will take to the stage to represent their country, and expectations are high; with festival press predicting that ‘The ground at Kaisaniemi is certain to quake’ due to their music.
